Naturally, being in the business solution market, we like to read about are competitors. A major trend we have noticed is heavy use of the words “cloud services, SaaS (Software as a Service) and web based processes”

What makes us smile from time to time is to read about those complex, very expensive business solutions and how they have managed to make a process or two web based. We are thinking, “a process or two”? Why not the complete solution?

Centralized data
Our clients very often interact with partners and contractors. They often need access to some data provided by our client. This is usually a major problem for the conventional business solutions providers. Why? In order to allow access to the “new system”, the partners and contractors need some kind of client installed locally on their computers.

The scenario becomes even more complex when an enterprise has several systems for each division. Imagine running a free newspaper. They have several partners involved (the newspaper, the printing plants, the workshop, the temp agencies and the transport companies). What system supports shared, web based data and implementing heavy multi-level security? The answer is none, and that is how Singleton Solutions GmbH started.

“2 becomes 1”
Warehouse system, logistics system, ERP system, CMS system and so on and so forth… The main reason our clients come to us, is because we offer one system that covers all our clients’ needs. Using the same database, makes it easy for all to see the data they need.

The one system we usually don’t offer is an “economy system”. The economy solutions on the market today very good and we see no need for us to offer economy systems. However, what we do offer is full integration support for all major economy systems on the market today.

The social aspect of it all
With the growing importance of social media, we are noticing an exploding trend where clients are asking us to connect their systems to popular social channels such as Twitter and Facebook. Luckily, our own systems are very easy to connect, remember, they are web based. We even had one of our clients requesting that his system automatically “twitters” when a certain number is reached! Now how did we know, seven years ago, how to build a system that would be so easily adaptable?
